Cleft Lip Surgery Report Chan Nee

Mrs. Nou and her husband lived in a remote village along border Cambodia-Vietnam. She was a new couple family, when she was being pregnant; she strongly hoped that she could give a birth of a child with lovely and beautiful baby in family. Unfortunately, she was desperate with her first born baby with cleft lip-she has never faced in relative and neighborhood. She rarely went out with her baby; she was in embarrassment with villagers. “While I am carrying my baby in my chest, I am shameful with my friends, I dislike taking her with me to neighbor’s house.”

The family of three worked as farmer, only growing rice in a small piece of land and staying in mother in law’s house. While she was walking in front of local health center, she read CBN is offering free cleft lip surgery in poster in June 2008, it was the first times when she knew about clef lip surgery, she quickly contacted with ob people. She was so happy and it gave her strong hope to help Nee to be normal lip as other girl in village.

A little girl, Nee is presenting her beautiful smile, so exciting. Her parents and grandma are very happy and Mrs. Nou expresses her gratefulness, “I would like to thank CBN and donor who provide this help.
