Mrs. Boeng Mao

Grandma Boeng Mao is 81 years old, her husband was died since Pol Pot regime and she has one daughter. Her daughter’s name is Oeun Key, 36, who is a widow too. Oeun Key has one son, who lives with Boeng Mao. 

Because of her life is so hard, Oeun Key had gone to work at another place and never come back home.

Now Grandma Boeng Mao has to support her grandson by herself. So she very worries about her grandson’s life because she is too old and doesn’t have exactly job. Sometime her neighbors call her to help them to paddle a boat and they always give some rice and food to her. Her living is very difficult; sometime she doesn’t have anything to eat. She always finds crab, snail and fish in field to eat.

Anyway, thanks God that CBN Cambodia has found out her situation and put her grandson under Back To School project and we also provide her a cow which is a foundation for her family.

At last, with a smiling face to OB Cambodia she said “I am really happy that now I will no worry about any supplies or school fee of my grandson because I have you, CBN, to help me and I am also excited for the cow that gave to me, to support my family. Thank you so much CBN!” Finally, Grandma Boeng Mao mentions that she’ll take a good care of this cow no matter how and she hopes this cow will give her a lot of benefits.
