Sok Meantrob, 12 year-old-girl, who studies in grade 2 at Thla primary school. Her father was died by malaria since 2003 and her mother has a chronic unknown disease. She can do nothing.

Meantrob has 8 brothers and sisters. Her oldest brother had been going to Thailand and he never come back home. Another two brothers are construction worker that each can earn $2 per day but it’s a temporary job.

Since her mother is always getting sick, Meantrob needs to help her mother to take care of her sister, doing house work before going to school. She can’t go to school on time since the school is quite far from her home.

Now she was very happy to be a part of Bless a Child project and CBN has provided her a new bike to keep her getting easy to go to school on time. With smiling face she said, “I’m so thankful to CBN for giving me this chance. I have now a good food to eat, enough supplies with new school uniforms. I will no worry about it especially I can go to school on time because this bike will help me a lot. I love it so much!”

Moreover, her mother said, “This project is mean much too me since I don’t have ability to give them enough support. Thank you so much for your providing, taking care of my children.”

Vouch Ly is 10 year- old- girl, who studies in grade 4 at Sombou Meas primary school.

Her parents were divorced since she was 3 years old. Now Vouch Ly lives with her grandparents. Her grandpa’s name is Chea Bun Song, 49. And her grandma’s name is Ear Kim Eng, 45.

Her grandpa is a soldier and he goes to work at Ratanakiri, he comes to visit her only twice a year. For her grandma, she just stays at home and looks after Voch Ly. And sometime she gets the banana leave to sell at the market. She also helps to cook the meals for Bless A Child kids too.

However, Vouch Ly still happy to go to study. She is a smart student in the class and she said that she really wants to study.

Finally she was very happy when she knew that she is under Bless a Child project. With smiling face she receives the school supplies and a new bike very happily.
